TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration

The Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration (CBSD) allows certified providers to offer care to eligible beneficiaries in the TRICARE West Region. A certified provider has obtained their certification to provide care by a specific organization depending on their specialty.

There are no cost-shares, copayments, or deductibles for covered breastfeeding counseling, making these services accessible for expecting and new parents. More charges may apply for services rendered by out-of-network providers.

Note: For beneficiaries interested in learning more about the CBSD, visit the TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration webpage.
