Availity Essentials is TriWest’s secure portal for submitting transactions for TRICARE West Region beneficiaries.
Register now with Availity to access important applications, resources and training information.
Established User
If you already have an Availity Essentials account, no further action is needed. You will receive information on when you can access training and other important information for TRICARE West. You will then need to follow these steps to determine your Availity administrator:
Step 1: Log in to Availity.
Step 2: Click your name (in the top navigation) and click My Account.
Step 3: Click Organization(s).
Step 4: Click Open My Administrators. If assistance is needed, call 1-800-AVAILITY (282-4548).
New User
Are you new to Availity? Resources are available to help you create an account and log in to the secure portal.
How to Login
If your organization does not have an Availity Essentials account, please follow the following steps:
Step 1: Designate an administrator. This person will need the following information to set up the account:
- Basic information about your practice, including federal tax ID and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Permission from your organization’s legal authority to agree to Availity’s Organization Agreement on behalf of your organization.
Step 2: The designated administrator will need to go to Availity.com.
- Click Register. Select Providers, and then, follow the steps to complete the registration. If your organization is a billing service, select Billing Services.
- Once your registration is complete, Availity will reach out via email with next steps and a temporary password.
