#1 Sign up for the West Region Beneficiary Portal.

• Access the portal at https://tricare.mil/west. See the "Self-Service" link at the top of the page.
• Securely manage your care and view enrollments, payments, referrals/authorizations, and claims.

#2 Manage your care through self-service.

• Find a provider by visiting the West Region Provider Directory in the portal and on https://tricare.mil/west.
  • You can search by a provider’s name, specialty, location, and more including telemedicine options specific to your TRICARE plan.
• Use the Referral and Authorization Decision Support (RADS) tool in the portal to find out if you need a referral or authorization for care. Answer a few questions and you’ll get a response immediately.

#3 Keep your enrollment active.

• Are you a TRICARE Prime enrollee? Make sure your payment information remains current.
• Manage your payment options, including signing up for automatic payments in the portal.
